had an amazing church service today. i'd taken my youth group on a retreat up in kelowna and instead of going to a church up there we had our own service. started by reading how the early church always just gathered together in houses (we were in a cabin), then read what jesus gave us as comandments (to eat the bread and drink the wine in remembrance of him)

from there we just opened the floor for anyone to request their song or read a passage or pray. it was great solely giving up worship to god and sharing with each other instead of focusing on what the preacher had to say. im pretty sure this is the way the early church did things.

after reading  foreign policy magazine's (i dont know why i was reading this smart magazine) article on bloging....i'm gonna start using this xanga thing again(maybe)..... and with a lil luck i'll up my readership from 3 to millions....or so it says in the article if i can manage to write anything useful about politics or something

anywyas what a crazy semester....glad its almost over...had a good weekend, went skiing and had youth, 3 girls came out who weren't christians so i managed to put a lil gospel into my devotional.......it was amazing how you could tell it really hit one of the girls as she went from all hyper and loud to staring at the ground and quiet....good work spirit keep on bugging her

well its been a while since i used xanga......but upon tim's request i'll give you all a lil update on my life

I've moved up to westbank (near kelowna) for the summer to work at my grandpa's sawmill. I'm doing lots of Quality Control work which is alot nicer than the manual labour i used to do.....so far I'm really loving my job, hopefully it will last. I'm living in a lil house on my grandparents property which means all the positives of living on my own with added benefits of having my grandparents pool, hottubs and putting green.......so its pretty sweet......I just got a roommate, my cousins bf, named justin, he's a great guy and we get along really well, and this weekend his friend that he met while on missions with WYAM will be moving in as well.....the house is pretty small so 3 people will be nice and cozy.

anyways on top of that I'm gonna be in Vancouver this weekend to pick up Justin's friend (he's from Ohio) so if you wanna see me send me an email or somerthing
